The ecotube soaker hose can be laid underground and waters the roots of the plants evenly over the entire length of the hose. This significantly reduces water consumption.
The ecotube can also be laid above ground if burying it is not possible. Ideally, it is then covered with some soil or wood Chips.

The only thing you need for installation is a standard pair of scissors, a garden hose, two more click connectors and a shovel.
General information
The ecotube soaker hose, colloquially known as a sweat hose or pearl hose. It is manufactured in our own production facility in the North of Germany from recycled material. The installation is done subsurface to distribute water evenly and directly to the roots of the plant. This means there is no evaporation that normally occurs through solar radiation during surface irrigation. Up to 58 % water can be saved compared to conventional irrigation methods such as watering or lawn sprinkling. The microporous surface ensures that the water emerges evenly from the ecotube soaker hose up to a length of 100 m. After a certain run-in phase, the water delivery amounts to 1.3 l/h/m.
Depending on the type of plant, there are different installation depths, which vary from 10 cm to 40 cm. You can find more information about this in the enclosed installation manual. Because of its Underground installation, the ecotube soaker hose is protected additionally from frost and mechanical damage caused by, e.g. robotic lawnmowers and will guarantee you long-term enjoyment.
